For Sally Wilson, music has never been something that happens at a distance — from behind a proscenium arch, or in the passive dark of a concert hall. It's a living conversation between artists and audience. Everything she does as a performer, and everything she and her husband Mark Kruger have built with Bellarine Classics, begins from that belief.
Soprano Sally Wilson performed on international stages for over twenty years — at Wigmore Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin, Lincoln Center, the Aldeburgh Festival, the Ravinia Festival and The Washington Opera, among many others. She appeared with the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Chamber Players, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and Ensemble Recherche, and has several recordings to her name.
She now performs concerts and recitals nationally, bringing the same depth, intelligence and presence that earned her extraordinary reviews across four continents — and the particular warmth of an artist who has found exactly where she belongs.
"The fall-out from Sally Wilson's powerful operatic presence is that she makes what she sings her own. Almost constantly present is a latent romantic fervour wedded to an unfailing depth of tone. Sally Wilson? Frankly, quite a find."

In 2025, Sally and her husband pianist Mark Kruger co-founded Bellarine Classics, a premium concert series based at the intimate and acoustically superb Barwon Heads Arts Hub on Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula.
The vision is uncompromising: concerts of the very highest international calibre, presented in a setting where every nuance, every musical conversation, can truly be felt. Not music scaled down for a regional audience music scaled in, so that audiences can experience artists of the first rank up close.
"We wanted to create something that feels truly world-class, but also deeply human. This is about hearing extraordinary artists in an intimate space, where every nuance can really be felt."
